CINEMATIC PROMOTIONAL VIDEO ON THE HISTORIC TOWN OF ANREN (CHINA)

Produced within the framework of Anren’s (安仁) cultural and tourism development, this promotional video presents one of the most distinctive heritage towns in western China. Located in Dayi County, approximately one hour from Chengdu, Anren is characterised by its remarkable concentration of historic architecture and museum spaces.

Through a visual narrative constructed exclusively with images and music, the piece explores the different layers that shape the identity of the town: the daily life of its inhabitants, its traditional streets and the mansions from the Republican era, now integrated into an extensive network of museums and cultural institutions.

The film proposes a slow and sensory perspective on Anren as a “museum town”, highlighting its ability to preserve the historical legacy of western China while positioning itself as a living destination for cultural tourism and contemporary artistic creation.
