Documentary audiovisual piece produced for the German television channel ich.tv, focusing on the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, one of the world’s leading scientific and conservation institutions dedicated to the protection of this iconic species.

The report portrays the daily work of researchers, caretakers, and specialized staff, addressing key aspects such as giant panda conservation, breeding programs, veterinary care, and the scientific research carried out at the center.

Almost Red Productions was responsible for the full on-location production in China, including filming, permit management, local production, and support with translation and cultural context. The work was carried out in close coordination with the ich.tv editorial team, which handled post-production and final broadcast of the piece.
REPORT DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION WORK
